Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This Cookie Policy explains how Interval Limited (operating as Ztract) uses cookies and similar technologies on ztract.com and app.ztract.com.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and — in many cases — to track you across the web. We do not use them for tracking.
"Similar technologies" includes browser local storage and session storage. Where we use these instead of cookies, we treat them the same way for the purposes of this policy.
2. What we use
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local-storage entries. None of them tracks you across sites; none of them is used for advertising or cross-site analytics.
2.1 Authentication and session
When you sign in to app.ztract.com, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets session cookies on the app subdomain that keep you signed in between requests. These are required for the Service to function. They expire when your session ends or when you explicitly sign out.
2.2 Preferences (local storage)
The pricing page on ztract.com stores your selected display currency in browser
local storage under the key ztract:pricing:currency so the page
remembers your choice between visits. This is stored only in your browser and is
never transmitted to our servers.
2.3 Third-party cookies during payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you click a "Buy" button you are redirected to Stripe's checkout page on a stripe.com domain, where Stripe sets its own cookies to operate the checkout and to detect fraud. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy, not by us. We do not embed Stripe's checkout inside ztract.com.
3. What we do not use
We deliberately do not load any of the following on ztract.com or app.ztract.com:
- Analytics products (Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, etc.).
- Advertising or remarketing pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.).
- Social-media tracking widgets.
- Cross-site tracking technologies of any kind.
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and add an appropriate consent mechanism before they are used.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies through your browser's settings. Most browsers let you delete existing cookies, refuse new ones, or be warned before a cookie is set. Blocking the cookies described in section 2.1 will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in to app.ztract.com.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. If a change is material — for example, introducing analytics or advertising cookies — we will provide notice through the Service or by email before the change takes effect.
